[origin: WO2022006047A1] A cosmetic composition for improved penetration of skin active agents including about 0.1 to about 10 wt.% of C-glycoside; about 0.1 to about 5 wt.% of polyglyceryl-3 methylglucose distearate; about 0.1 to about 5 wt.% of sodium polyacrylate; and water, wherein the cosmetic composition is an oil-in-water emulsion, and all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the cosmetic composition. Methods for treating damaged skin with cosmetic compositions are also disclosed.
