Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022008312A1] The invention relates to a method for recovering nonferrous metals from the ashes of domestic waste incineration plants and from the residues of thermal processes, from which ashes iron has been substantially liberated and in which ashes there are at least two fractions, of which one contains fine-fraction particles below a predefined grain-size limit and the other contains coarse-fraction particles over the grain-size limit. According to the invention, the nonferrous metals as well as the fine fraction and the coarse fraction are separated independently and in succession in one device using the same treatment steps with operating parameters adapted to the particular grain sizes.
