Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022002459A1] The invention relates to a wrap paper which is suitable for use on aerosol-generating articles and comprises pulp fibres and one or more polyphosphates, the pulp fibres constituting at least 55% and at most 95% of the mass of the wrap paper and the polyphosphates together being present in a concentration of at least 5% and at most 30% relative to the mass of the wrap paper. The polyphosphates are compounds with the empirical formula Mn+2PnO3n+1 or Mn[H2PnO3n+1], where n is at least 2 and at most 100 and M is a monovalent metal or ammonium (NH4+).
