[origin: WO2022006613A1] The invention relates to a bending device for producing a component by forming a workpiece from sheet metal, comprising a press table and a press beam which can be adjusted relative to the press table by a drive device. The press table comprises a body, a compensating beam with a tool receiving area, and actuators arranged between the body and the compensating beam for elastically deforming the compensating beam relative to the body. The body is equipped with a slot-shaped recess which extends parallel to the longitudinal extension of the press table and which is open towards the press beam, wherein the compensating beam is received in the recess of the body, and the actuators are arranged between a lower face of the compensating beam and the base of the recess of the body.
