[origin: WO2022010364A1] A computer-implemented method for rendering is provided. The method comprises: receiving a first set of tristimulus values representing a first colour in a colour space; determining a first approximation of the first colour based on at least one first reflectance coefficient representing a second colour; determining a second approximation of the first colour based on at least one second reflectance coefficient and at least one fluorescent coefficient representing the second colour; and storing either the first approximation of the first colour or the second approximation of the first colour as the first colour in a renderer.
