Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022013825A1] An unwinder for unwinding reels (Bn, Be) of web products (f) intended to be conveyed to converting machines, comprises a fixed support structure (2), a rotary support structure (5) intended to support two reels (Bn, Be) by means of as many reel supports (7, 37''), drive members (6, 10, 11, 12) suitable for controlling the rotation of said rotary support structure (5), first unwinding control devices (13, 14, 15, 16, 40'', 41'', 42'') adapted to rotate an unwinding reel of said two reels (Bn, Bs, Be) around its own axis, a cutting system (27) to separate the web product (f2) in unwinding, a joining system (22, Cb, 24, 25, 26) for joining two superimposed web products (f1, f2). The rotary support structure (5) is supported only by its external side while the reel supports (7, 37'') are on the relative external side with the reels (Bn, Bs, Be) which are then loaded therebetween, so that, since no element of the unwinder clutters the volume comprised between the two rotary supports (5), the new reel to unwind (Bn), which is loaded when the almost completely unwound reel (Be) present on the other reel support has reached a sufficiently small diameter, has a larger diameter than the distance between the two reel supports (7, 37'').
