[origin: WO2022017663A1] The invention relates to a method for the nuclear safety measurement of a material to be measured (50) using a clearance measurement system (100) having a measuring chamber (30) and a plurality of detectors (1...24) surrounding the measuring chamber (30) for detecting nuclear radiation, the method comprising the following steps: (a) providing the material to be measured (50); (b) arranging the material to be measured (50) in a first measuring position (80) within the measuring chamber (30); (c) detecting nuclear radiation from the material to be measured (50) arranged in the first measuring position (80) within the measuring chamber (30) by means of the detectors (1...24); (d) arranging the material to be measured (50) in at least one further measuring position (81, 82), differing from the first measuring position (80), within the measuring chamber (30); (e) detecting nuclear radiation from the material to be measured (50) arranged in the at least one further measuring position (81, 82) by means of the detectors (1...24); and (f) determining an activity distribution in the material to be measured (50) on the basis of the nuclear radiation detected by means of the detectors (1...24). The invention also relates to a computer program product and to a clearance measurement system (100).
