L'invention concerne un équipement pour la pratique du basketball, comprenant une base (1), un mât (2) le long duquel un panier (3) est monté en translation en étant réglable en hauteur par un système comprenant une sangle de réglage (12) présentant une extrémité distale (14a) solidaire du panier (3) et un élément de renvoi (13) monté sur une partie supérieure dudit mât, ladite sangle étant engagée sur ledit élément en présentant une portion distale (12a) s'étendant entre ladite extrémité et ledit élément et une portion proximale (12b) s'étendant dudit élément jusqu'à une extrémité proximale (14b), le système de réglage comprenant un dispositif de maintien présentant une partie inférieure solidaire de la base (1) et une partie supérieure reliée à l'extrémité proximale (14b) par l'intermédiaire d'un mécanisme de réglage de la longueur de ladite partie supérieure.
