[origin: WO2022022823A1] The invention relates to a method for the relative time setting of a sympathetic watch (200) by a sympathetic clock (100) with which the watch (200) forms a sympathetic assembly (1000), the watch (200) comprising at least one hour display (4) and a minute display (5), of which a reference position is defined; according to the method, time-setting is performed either on demand by the action of a user on a control means (300) with which either the clock (100) or the watch (200) is equipped, or automatically in a periodic manner controlled by the clock (100), and, in order to carry out relative time setting, the clock (100) drives said displays (4; 5) of the watch in reverse, anticlockwise, with a sufficiently large stroke to ensure that the displays (4; 5) pass by the reference position, before a clockwise return to the instantaneous time. The invention further relates to method for rewinding the watch by this relative time setting.
