[origin: WO2022028980A1] The invention relates to a choke for a power electronics system. The choke has an inductance in the region of 10 μΗ to 2 mH and a current carrying capacity of 1 A or more. The choke comprises an amorphous core material (1) and at least one winding (6). The winding (6) is designed as an outer winding surrounding the amorphous core material (1) and made of copper or a copper alloy. The amorphous core material (1) has a saturation magnetostriction in the region of 10-7 and 10-5 and/or a static coercivity of max. 30 A/m.
