[origin: WO2022029034A1] The tamper-evident closure (1) for closing a pouring opening of a container comprises a closure cap (3) with a closure-cap axis (AV) and an engagement element (12), wherein the engagement element (12) is configured in the form of an internal thread (12a) or a bayonet-closure part (12b), also comprises a securing ring (2), which is arranged following the closure cap (3) in the direction of the closure-cap axis (AV) and concentrically in relation to the closure-cap axis (AV), further comprises a plurality of predetermined breaking crosspieces (7), by means of which the closure cap (3) is connected to the securing ring (2), wherein the closure cap (3) can be separated from the securing ring (2) by the predetermined breaking crosspieces (7) being broken, and additionally comprises a single retaining band (6), which is connected, at its first end (6g), to the closure cap (3) and, at its second end (6h), to the securing ring (2), wherein the retaining band (6) is of U-shaped or V-shaped configuration and consists of a first arm (6a), a second arm (6b) and a connecting portion (6c), which connects the first and the second arms (6a, 6b).
