[origin: WO2022034213A1] The invention provides a method of manufacturing an aerosol-generating material comprising a shredded amorphous solid, the method comprising: (a) forming a layer of a slurry comprising: 1 - 60 wt% of a gelling agent; 0.1 - 50 wt% of an aerosol-former material; 5 - 50 wt% of filler in the form of fibres; and 0.1 - 80 wt% of a flavourant and/or active substance; wherein these weights are calculated on a dry weight basis; (b) drying the slurry to provide the amorphous solid; and (c) shredding the amorphous solid to provide the shredded amorphous solid.
