Abstract (en)
[origin: WO2022033932A1] The present invention relates to a vaporiser unit for an electronic cigarette, comprising a reservoir, the reservoir being designed such that a liquid can be received in the reservoir, a vaporiser head having a receptacle for an electrically operable heating resistor and a feed device for feeding the liquid from the reservoir into the vaporiser head. In order to provide a vaporiser unit for an electronic cigarette which offers simplified use in practice, and in order to achieve greater safety in use of the vaporiser unit, according to the invention the feed device comprises a riser duct, at least one inlet opening and at least one transfer opening, the inlet opening forming a fluid connection for the liquid from the reservoir into the riser duct, the transfer opening forming a fluid connection for the liquid from the riser duct into the vaporiser head, and the riser duct comprising at least two opposing inner wall surfaces, the inner wall surfaces being arranged and designed in such a way that the riser duct has a defined gap dimension and the liquid in the riser duct is fed by a capillary force from the inlet opening to the transfer opening.
