[origin: WO2022034014A1] The present invention relates to a pistol comprising a mechanism for unlocking a pistol magazine, comprising at least two control buttons (2) arranged at the right and left of a handle (1) into which a magazine (3) can be inserted, each control button (2) being attached to an end of a control lever (16) which controls the translational movement of a latch cam (17) arranged in front of or behind the handle (1), the latch cam (17) comprising a latch which cooperates during use with a stop surface arranged on the front or rear surface of the magazine (3) in order to lock or unlock the magazine (3), at least one spring (22) which holds the latch cam (17) in the locking position of the magazine (3) when pressure is not applied to the control button (2), and each control lever (4, 5) comprising a control lever pin (18) which bears on a corresponding latch cam pin (19) of the latch cam (17), the latch cam (17) being translated when one of the control buttons (2) is actuated and the unlocking device comprising two control lever springs (20, 21) which hold the control levers (16) in a locked position so as to make the movement of the left and right control buttons (2) independent of each other.
