Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022043048A1] The invention relates to a method for applying a position marking (18) for a working position to an underlying surface (14), for example to a wall, a ceiling, a floor or the like, at an associated marking position, comprising the following steps: a. unsystematically or systematically moving a portable marking system (12) over a marking region (28) of the underlying surface (14); b. determining, preferably determining on a regular basis, at least one position of the marking system (12); c. providing a marking at the determined position of the marking system (12) if the determined position coincides with the marking position, or at least coincides with the marking position within the limits of a predefined or predefinable degree of accuracy. The invention also relates to a marking system (12). The invention makes it possible for position markings (18) for working positions to be applied to an underlying surface (14) in a particularly precise and time-saving manner.
