Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022096067A1] Proposed is a vehicle (10) which has one or more optical sensor elements (20, 21, 22, 23) in the region of a first side, more particularly its front side (11), said optical sensor elements being configured, in interaction with evaluation and control electronics (30, 40) which are arranged mounted on the vehicle or completely or partially remote from the vehicle (10), to warn of a collision between the driving vehicle (10) and an obstacle, to avoid the obstacle or to stop the vehicle (10) if an obstacle is detected. At least one, several or all of the optical sensor elements (20, 21, 22, 23) have a visual field (50, 51, 52, 53) with a horizontal and/or vertical viewing angle range (α, α') of less than 3 degrees. Further proposed is a method for avoiding a collision between a vehicle (10) and an obstacle.
