[origin: WO2022043380A1] The present invention relates to an inhaler (10), comprising: a housing (11) having a main body (12), wherein the main body (12) is designed and configured to receive an active substance container (13) containing an active substance (14); an air channel (17) extending within the housing (11); an administering element (18) for mixing the active substance with air (23) flowing in the air channel (17); an electronic control device (19); an electronic data memory (20); and a sensor system (21) having a flow measurement device (22) for measuring the volume and/or mass flow of the air (23) flowing through the air channel (17) and/or the active substance (14) flowing through the air channel (17) for storage as active substance dispensing data in the electronic data memory (20). The electronic control device (19) is designed and configured to convert active substance dispensing data into administering data in order to control the mixing, by the administering element (18), of the active substance (14) with air (23) flowing in the air channel (17), and wherein the electronic control device (19) is configured to calculate the active substance (14) dispensed from the active substance container (13) based on the active substance dispensing data captured by means of the flow measurement device (22) and to compare same with the active substance administering data. The invention also relates to a corresponding method and arrangement.
