[origin: WO2022043311A1] The invention relates to a transport device for transporting containers (2) along a container transport path (S), comprising at least one transport star (1). The transport star (1) has at least one first rotor-like transport element (3) which is oriented on a first horizontal plane and can be rotated about a first vertical star axis (SA1), and a plurality of first container supports (4), each of which is arranged at a first vertical position (h1) and which engage the containers (2) at a first gripping height, are distributed over the circumference of the first transport element (3) about the first star axis (SA1) in order to hold the containers (2) in a suspended manner. At least one first motor drive (7) is provided in order to rotate at least the first rotor-like transport element (3). The invention is characterized in particular in that the transport star (1) additionally has a second rotor-like transport element (5) which is designed to have the same circumference as the first transport element (3), is oriented on a second horizontal plane, and can be rotated about a second vertical star axis (SA2), and a number of container supports (6), each of which is arranged at a second vertical position (h2) and which engage the containers (2) at a second gripping height, are distributed over the circumference of the second transport element (5) in order to hold the containers (2) in a suspended manner. The first and second star axis (SA1, SA2) are offset to each other, and the transport elements (3, 5) partly overlap.
