[origin: WO2022043389A1] The invention relates to an electronic control device (15) for controlling at least one electromechanical actuator (11) of a blackout device, the electromechanical actuator (11) comprising at least one electric motor (16), the electromechanical actuator (11) being configured to move a screen (2) of the blackout device (3). This electronic control device (15) comprises: - a first microcontroller (34) configured to receive control orders transmitted from at least one control unit (32), and - a second microcontroller (36), different from the first microcontroller (34), the second microcontroller (36) comprising at least one control module (60) configured to control the electric motor (16) of the electromechanical actuator (11) according to control orders received by the first microcontroller (34), and a safety module (62), separate from the control module (60), configured to validate at least one operating safety condition of the electromechanical actuator (11). The first microcontroller (34) and the second microcontroller (36) are configured to communicate via a communication link (38).
