The water heater includes a first condenser (21) and a second condenser (22) disposed one above the other along a water tank (1), a refrigerant outlet of the first condenser (21) is connected to a refrigerant inlet of the second condenser (22) through a first refrigerant branch pipe (31), the first refrigerant branch pipe (31) is provided with a regulating valve (311), the refrigerant inlet of the second condenser (22) is further connected to a refrigerant gross pipe (30) through a second refrigerant branch pipe (32), and the second refrigerant branch pipe (32) is provided with a switch valve (321). The controller is communicatively connected to the regulating valve (311) and the switch valve (321) respectively.
