[origin: WO2022049187A1] The invention relates to an amusement device (1) having a transport apparatus (2) for passengers, which has a preferably annular, closed transport track (5) with a plurality of transport track sections (13-19) and with one or more passenger transport means (4) which move along the transport track (5) in a direction of travel (9), and a drive device (8) for the one or more transport means (4). The passengers are accommodated on the respective transport means (4) with a passenger orientation (10). The transport track (5) has a transport track course which is curved at least in regions and is beaded at least in regions, and one or more downhill stretches (6), and at least one abrupt change of the transport track course by approx. 90° with a deflecting means (7) there which is configured as a stationary, greatly curved transport track section (8) and/or as a rotational device (27) with a movable transport track section (19). The transport apparatus (2) furthermore has a variation means (11) for changing the passenger orientation (10) relative to the direction of travel (9) of the transport means (4).
