[origin: WO2022048879A1] The invention provides an automotive sweeper comprising a chassis (12), a passenger area (32), which is arranged on the chassis (12), at least one rotary brush (52) and a dirt-collecting-container apparatus (68), which is arranged movably in relation to the chassis (12) via a retaining device (70), wherein the dirt-collecting-container apparatus (68) has at least a first position (124) and a second position (140) in relation to the chassis (12), and wherein, when the sweeper is in operation, in the first position (124) sweepings are fed to the dirt-collecting-container apparatus (68) by the at least one rotary brush (52), and in the second position (140) a high-dump function of the dirt-collecting-container apparatus (68) is made possible, wherein the retaining device (70) and/or the dirt-collecting-container apparatus (68) have/has a window (176) which, in the second position (140) of the dirt-collecting-container apparatus (68), provides a field of view (178) for an operator (38) who is in the correct position in the passenger area (32).
