Abstract (en)

A relief lift for lifting vehicles that will not be used for longer periods of time, said lift comprising:- a base construction of at least two parallel rails (1), which may be optionally connected with an arbitrary number of intermediate connecting elements;- at least one hydraulic cylinder (3), which is on one end connected to a drive unit (4), preferably a hydraulic pump or an aggregate, and is on the other end connected to a lifting assembly, wherein the at least one hydraulic cylinder is controlled with a suitable valve,- the lifting assembly comprising:∘ at least two first transverse rods (5) connecting said parallel rails,∘ two inner rails (6) provided between said parallel rails of the base construction, wherein the inner rails are connected to the first transverse rods with a pair of connecting handles rotatably mounted in mounting on the inner rails and two transverse rods, so that the inner rails are synchronously liftable above the height of the base construction,∘ at least one second transverse rod (7) connecting said inner rails, which is connected to one of said first transverse rods with an additional pair of rotatable connecting handles.
