Abstract (en)
[origin: GB2598767A] A camping mattress 10 for use with a roof tent. The camping mattress comprises an upper section 30 for supporting an upper portion of a user, and a lower section 40 for supporting a lower portion of the user. The upper section is rotatable about an axis R such that, in use, the upper section can be rotated and reversibly fixed at one or more inclined positions relative to the lower section. The mattress may comprise two hinges 50 attached to the upper and lower sections that, in use, facilitates the rotation and inclination of the upper section relative to the lower section. Support members 90 may be provided for supporting the upper section in one or more inclined positions. Said members may be arranged to be reversibly fixed in one more different positions. The upper section may comprise a backboard 80 extending across the substantial majority of the underside of the upper section. The upper section may comprise one or more handles 45 which may comprise loops of material. The mattress may comprise foam. A kit of parts comprising a roof tent and the camping mattress is also disclosed. Further, a roof tent comprising the camping mattress is disclosed.
