[origin: WO2022053201A1] The present invention relates to a method for treating a surface in order to improve the removability of microorganisms from the surface, the method comprising the following steps: - applying a treatment solution to the surface, wherein the treatment solution comprises an aqueous solution of a collagen hydrolysate; and - letting the surface dry. The invention also relates to the use of collagen hydrolysate for treating a surface in order to improve the removability of microorganisms from the surface.
