[origin: EP4212042A1] [Problem] To provide a mechanism with which it is possible to further improve the quality of an experience that uses an inhalation device. [Solution] An inhalation device comprises: a communication unit that communicates with another device; a heating unit that heats a base material containing an aerosol source and generates an aerosol; a temperature detection unit that detects a temperature; and a control unit that controls the operation of the inhalation device. The communication unit receives information indicating a threshold value, and the control unit controls the operation of the heating unit according to whether the temperature detected by the temperature detection unit exceeds the threshold value received by the communication unit.
