[Problem] To provide a mechanism by which a user can be notified of information related to an inhalation device in a timely manner. [Solution] Provided is a control method for controlling processing for notifying a user of information, the processing performed by a system comprising: an inhalation device for generating an aerosol by using a base material; and a terminal device that communicates with the inhalation device. The control method includes: determining whether the inhalation device has enough remaining power to be able to perform processing a prescribed number of times to generate the aerosol; and, according to the determination results, controlling the processing to notify the user, by means of the terminal device, of information that indicates the remaining power.
