Abstract (en)
[Problem] To provide a mechanism with which it is possible to perform communication suited to the remaining amount of power in a suction device. [Solution] This suction device comprises a communication unit that communicates with another device, a heating unit that heats an aerosol-source-containing base material and generates an aerosol, a power supply unit that accumulates and supplies electric power for operation of the suction device, and a control unit that controls the operation of the suction device. The control device compares the remaining amount of power in the power supply unit and a threshold value, and controls the possibility of executing a procedure for establishing a connection between the suction device and the other communication device on the basis of the result of comparison.
