Abstract (en)

[origin: WO2022063656A1] The present invention relates to a control module (1) for an elevator system (50), which elevator system has an elevator car (54) that can move between floors (51, 52, 53) in an elevator shaft (55), and a drive unit (66), the control module comprising an interface (9), which is designed to interact with a safety catch apparatus (58) in order to mechanically lock the elevator car (54) in place following a control signal from monitoring means (4), and the monitoring means (4), which are designed such that, in particular when the elevator system (50) is in a maintenance-operation state, the control signal for the safety catch apparatus (58) can be generated when one of at least two dangerous operating conditions is detected, wherein a first dangerous operating condition may be produced if the elevator car (54) is located in an upper end region (60) of the elevator shaft (55), in particular in an upper protective space for the maintenance personnel, and wherein a second dangerous operating condition may be produced if the elevator car (54) is located in a lower end region (61) of the elevator shaft (55), in particular in a lower protective space for the maintenance personnel. According to the invention, the monitoring means (4) comprise delay means (5) which are designed to the effect that the control signal for the safety catch device (58) can be generated after detection of the first dangerous operating condition and/or the second dangerous operating condition only following a direction command that is generated in particular by the maintenance personnel.
