[origin: WO2022063558A1] The invention relates to a brake dust particle filter (10) for a disc brake assembly (100) having a brake disc (101) and a brake caliper, the brake dust particle filter (10) being designed to catch particles produced during braking and the brake dust particle filter (10) having the following: • - a housing (1) in the shape of a ring segment for at least partially receiving the brake disc (101) in a housing interior (11), wherein the housing (1) has two housing side walls (12, 13) axially spaced apart from one another and a housing circumferential wall section (14) extending radially outward in the circumferential direction, and wherein the housing circumferential wall section (14) is arranged or formed between the housing side walls (12, 13); • - at least one guiding rib (15) projecting inwardly with at least one axial component from at least one housing side wall (12, 13) in the housing interior (11) at least in sections, wherein the guiding rib (15) is arranged adjacent to at least one opening (17) present in the housing side wall (12, 13), and the guiding rib (15) is at least partially covered with a filter medium (16).
