[origin: GB2599132A] A thermally insulated transportation container including thermally insulated walls (1a-1d fig. 1) defining a storage volume, an opening member 3 for accessing the storage volume, the opening member 3 having a mounting assembly 11 arranged to receive and mount at least one PCM (phase change material) unit 10 to the opening member. The mounting assembly 11 includes a mounting member 15 on which at least one PCM unit 10 is mounted, and a locking member 25 that is movably attached to the opening member 3 moves from a first position in which the PCM unit is mountable to a second position which locks the at least one PCM unit to the opening member 3. The locking member may be pivotally attached, such that it is rotatable between first and second locking positions. The locking member may further be rectangular, elongate, and comprise a plate. A method for mounting PCM units to a thermally insulated container is disclosed. A further aspect of the invention disclosing PCM units being mounted to container walls is disclosed.
