[origin: WO2022063358A1] The invention relates to a drive for motor-vehicle applications, said drive being equipped with an electric motor (7, 8) and at least one actuator (4; 9) which can be acted upon by the electric motor (7, 8). The electric motor (7, 8) has at least one stator (7) and a rotor (8) spaced therefrom. The stator (7) and the rotor (8) are arranged in installation areas (10, 11) which are delimited from each other. According to the invention, the installation area (10) which receives the stator (7) is designed to be media-tight, while the installation area (11) which receives the rotor (8) is designed to be protected from water and constitutes in particular a part of a housing (11).
