[origin: CA3187780A1] The object of the invention is a brush assembly (3) comprising a support (4) rotatable about an axis (A) and an annular brush (5, 6) essentially consisting of a brush band (5) and an array (7) of bristles (6) connected thereto and projecting radially therefrom. According to the invention the brush band (5) and thus the bristle array (7) is mounted on the support (4) with a longitudinal extension (L) extending at an acute angle to a perpendicular to the axis (A) of the support (4).

Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Bürstenaggregat (3), welches mit einem um eine Achse (A) rotativ antreibbaren Bürstenhalter (4) und einer Ringbürste (5, 6) aus im Wesentlichen einem Bürstenband (5) und daran angeschlossenen, einen Borstenkranz (7) bildenden sowie nach außen abstehenden Borsten (6) ausgerüstet ist. Erfindungsgemäß ist das Bürstenband (5) mit seiner Längserstreckung (L) und damit auch der Borstenkranz (7) abweichend von einer senkrechten Orientierung schräg verlaufend zur Achse (A) an den Bürstenhalter (4) angeschlossen.
