[origin: WO2022069226A1] The invention relates to an assembly for generating aerosol, comprising an evaporator chamber, a mouthpiece with an outlet for aerosol, and a mixing chamber with an air inlet. The evaporator chamber is equipped with an electric heating element for evaporating a liquid, said heating element being in contact with a wick material which is designed to supply the liquid to be evaporated to the electric heating element. The evaporator chamber comprises at least one first nozzle which is arranged in the wall of the evaporator chamber such that a fluidic connection is formed by the nozzle between the evaporator chamber and the mixing chamber so that the liquid evaporated in the evaporator chamber can enter the mixing chamber as a free jet of steam. The assembly is designed such that the free jet of steam is mixed with an air flow entering via the air inlet in the mixing chamber in order to generate an aerosol, and the generated aerosol can exit the assembly via the outlet of the mouthpiece.
