There is disclosed a washing machine (100) comprising an outer drum (110) and an inner drum (120) configured to hold items to be washed, wherein the inner drum is rotatably arranged around a rotational axis R in the outer drum.The washing machine further comprises an outer drum opening (115) arranged in the outer drum for accessing the inner drum and a door (130) configured to seal the outer drum opening, wherein the door is arranged to be repeatably movable between a sealed position and an opened position. The transition between the sealed position and the opened position is divided into a sealing movement along a first axis A1 extending outwards from the outer drum and in a sliding movement along a second axis A2. The washing machine further comprises a door guiding means (140) configured to allow the door to move along the first axis and the second axis.
