Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Gebäudeklimatisierung, bei welchem ein Temperiermedium in einem Kreisprozess zirkuliert, der eine Wärme- oder Kältequelle sowie mindestens einen Wärmetauscher umfasst, wobei das Temperiermedium im Wärmetauscher einen Wärmeaustausch mit der Umgebung vollzieht, wobei als Temperiermedium eine hygroskopische Flüssigkeit vorgesehen ist und der Wärmetauscher flüssigkeitsdicht, aber wasserdampfdurchlässig ausgebildet ist und das Temperiermedium während des Zirkulierens durch den Wärmetauscher Wasserdampf aus der Umgebung absorbiert oder an diese abgibt. Es wird ferner auch eine entsprechende Vorrichtung zur Gebäudeklimatisierung angegeben.
