[origin: WO2022073648A1] The invention relates to a stopper (1) for interacting with a bottom discharge nozzle (2) in a metallurgical vessel (M). In order to achieve an improved design along with reliable functioning of the stopper (1), provision is made according to the invention for the refractory or ceramic tube body (3) to have, in at least part of the region of the securing location (31), an enlarged-external-diameter collar (32) or external grooving and for an annular collar surface (33) for an engagement part (41) of a securing means (4) to be formed at a distance opposite the end surface (321) of the tube body (3).
