Abstract (en)

[origin: EP4226794A1] [Problem] To provide a mechanism with which it is possible to further improve the quality of the experience of using an inhalation device. [Solution] An inhalation device comprises: a heating unit that heats a substrate to generate aerosols; and a control unit that controls an operation of the heating unit on the basis of a heating profile in which a time-series transition of a target temperature, which is a target value of the temperature of the heating unit, is designated. The heating profile includes a plurality of time sections which are continuous along a time axis. In each of the plurality of time sections, the target temperature of an end period of the time section is set. The heating profile includes an initial temperature raising section at the beginning. The target temperature which is set in the initial temperature raising section is higher than an initial value. The initial temperature raising section includes a first temperature raising section and a second temperature raising section following the first temperature raising section. The first temperature raising section and the second temperature raising section have mutually different temperature raising widths per unit time.
