[origin: EP4226796A1] [Problem] To provide a mechanism with which it is possible to improve the quality of an experience using an inhalation device. [Solution] An inhalation device according to the present invention is provided with a heating unit that generates an aerosol by heating a substrate, and a control unit that controls the operation of the heating unit on the basis of a heating profile defining the time-series transition of a target temperature, which is a target value of the temperature of the heating unit. The heating profile includes a plurality of slots, which are time sections continuous along the time axis, and a plurality of switching conditions are set for the slots. When one of the plurality of switching conditions set for the slots is satisfied, the control unit switches between the slots, and controls the operation of the heating unit on the basis of the slots after the switching.
