[origin: WO2022106451A1] The device (20) for shelling nuts (53) comprises: - a means (21) for placing nuts on a moving carrier, - a first means (22) for exposing the nuts moved by the moving carrier to electromagnetic radiation, - at least one means (23) for cutting the shell of each nut through the entire thickness of the shell while the nut moves along the moving carrier, - a second means (24) for exposing the nuts moved by the moving carrier to electromagnetic radiation, - a means (25) for exposing the nuts to heat radiation and - a means (26) for separating the flesh of the shelled nuts from the shells.
