[origin: WO2022084167A1] A panel connection system (1) for the corner connection of two panels (2, 3) which are arranged at an angled inclination, in particular at a right angle, to one another, comprising a first connecting element (4) comprising a bearing portion (5) with at least one support surface (6), by means of which the connecting element (4) is supported on one of the two panels (2), and a leg portion (7) which projects at an angled inclination from the bearing portion (5) and which has at least one first engaging structure (8), and a second connecting element (9) comprising a bearing portion (10) having at least one support surface (11), by means of which the connecting element (9) is supported on the other of the two panels (3), and having at least one second engaging structure (12) which is situated opposite the support surface (11), wherein the at least one first engaging structure (8) of the first connecting element (4) is designed for engagement in the at least one second engaging structure (12) of the second connecting element (9), and wherein the two engaging structures (8, 12) are designed in such a way that the two connecting elements (4, 9) can be connected to one another via a connecting movement (V) along a longitudinal axis (L), which longitudinal axis (L) is at an angled inclination to the support surface (6) of the first connecting element (4).
