The device (14) comprises a frequency converter (13) and a heat sink (12). The drive (1) has a motor housing (11) and a fan (19). A shaft (7) is supported by a bearing arrangement (17) on the fan side and a bearing arrangement (9) on the pump side. The heat sink (12) is connected to one of the two bearing arrangements (9, 17).
