[origin: EP4234122A1] A valve device (30), connected to a cavity (15) of a mold (10) in a die casting apparatus (1) for opening and closing a suction passage (60) used for sucking gas from the cavity (15), includes a valve device body(40); a valve accommodation space (41), which is provided in the valve device body (40), connected to the suction passage (60), has an opening (44), and includes a flange accommodation space (43); a valve (80) that is movable in the valve accommodation space (41) in an axial direction thereof and that opens and closes the suction passage (60) by moving in the axial direction; a flange part (90) removably attached to the valve (80) in the flange accommodation space (43) and movable together with the valve (80) in the flange accommodation space (43); a blocking part (70) that can be attached to and detached from the valve device body (40) and that closes the opening (44); and a driving part (110) that moves the valve (80) or the flange part (90).
