[origin: WO2022090204A1] The invention relates to an adjustable safety device on an electrochemical cell (1), the cell comprising a container (10) in which a tube is placed, the container comprising at least a first wall provided with at least one break initiator, suitable for breaking in case of failure in order to expel gas, and a second wall for holding the tube in the container, characterized in that the safety device comprises: - a holding device for providing support against the second wall of the cell in order to hold it in position in case of thermal runaway and to retain the tube inside the container; - a gas release device for guaranteeing the expulsion of gas outside of the cell, in case of thermal runaway.
