Die Erfindung betrifft eine Luftspinnvorrichtung sowie ein Verfahren zur Oberflächenbehandlung innerhalb einer Luftspinnvorrichtung mit einem einen Spinnkonus durchquerenden Fadenabzugskanal mit einem Ausgang zum Ausleiten eines Spinnfadens aus der Luftspinnvorrichtung, einem im Abstand vom Spinnkonus angeordneten, den Spinnkonus einhausenden Spinngehäuse und einer mit Druckluft beaufschlagbaren Düsenvorrichtung zur Erzeugung eines den Spinnkonus in einem Hüllspalt zwischen Spinnkonus und Spinngehäuse umlaufenden Luftstroms. Um ein Verfahren zur Oberflächenbehandlung innerhalb einer Luftspinnvorrichtung sowie eine Luftspinnvorrichtung bereitzustellen, welche eine einfache und schnelle Oberflächenbehandlung innerhalb der Luftspinnvorrichtung ermöglicht, ist vorgesehen, dass an der Luftspinnvorrichtung eine Fluideinbringungsvorrichtung, die zur Vorlage eines Fluids ausgangsseitig zu dem Ausgang oder zur Einleitung eines Fluids in den Ausgang des Fadenabzugskanals ausgebildet ist.
