[origin: WO2022096369A1] The present invention relates to a device used as a speed-reading aid, the device comprising: - an elongate pointer pin (11); - a retainer (10) for the pointer pin (11); and - a clamping device (13) on the retainer (10), by means of which clamping device the device can be releasably attached to a finger; wherein the pointer pin (11) is removably attached to the retainer (10), and wherein according to the invention at least one writing implement (12) or functional pin is attached, in concealment, to the retainer (10) and can be used for a writing function or another function after the pointer pin (11) has been removed. The invention provides a speed-reading aid which can be guided back and forth quickly and flexibly during speed-reading, without fatigue resulting, and which provides other functions in addition to the function as an aid for speed reading and has a compact design.
