[origin: WO2022096722A1] The present invention relates to a suspended clothes dryer (1) for a building ceiling having a drying rack (5), a casing (2), which completely accommodates the drying rack (5) when it is in the stowed position and an opening in the housing (2) through which the drying rack (5) can be extended out of the casing from its stowed position into an operating position, wherein the opening has a screen (4.1), which, in the closed position, covers the opening and, in the open position, uncovers the opening for the drying rack (5), and wherein the screen (4.1) is flexible or lamellar and when in the open position, i.e. when retracted, is retained on a winding arrangement.
