[origin: WO2022101069A1] The invention relates to a building system (1) comprising a lift system (1a) which is installed in a building. At least a first waiting zone (10) and a second waiting zone (8) for users (2) of the lift system (1a) are specified for the building, the second waiting zone (8) being located in an access region to a lift (4) of the lift system (1a). The building system (1) comprises a call input apparatus (14) which receives a lift call from a user (2) located in a specified environment of the first waiting zone (10), and a control apparatus (16) which is communicatively connected to the call input apparatus (14). In response to a call input from the first waiting zone (10), the control apparatus (16) can e.g. either ask the user (2) to wait there until they are called to go into the second waiting zone (8) or ask said user to go straight into the second waiting zone (8). An allocated lift (4) can be communicated to the user (2) in the first or second waiting zone (10, 8).
