Abstract (en)
This application discloses a method and an apparatus for configuring a node, a computer device, and a storage medium, and belongs to the field of network technologies. In the method, after receiving a packet including first information, a server validates a configuration for a data node in a storage location identified by the first information. When the configuration for the data node fails to pass the validation, if the packet includes a first parameter, the server enables, based on the first parameter, a mode of outputting configuration information, and outputs recommended configuration information. A user does not need to construct a new configuration command, to resolve a problem that the configuration for the data node fails to pass the validation, thereby reducing node configuration duration and improving node configuration efficiency.
