[origin: WO2022106681A1] The invention relates to an electric drive device (1) for a vehicle axle, comprising - a rotor (2) of an electric machine (3) with an input shaft (4), - a driveshaft of the vehicle, - a transmission gear mechanism (5) disposed between the input shaft and the drive shaft, the gear mechanism comprising at least one gear element, and - a parking brake device (9) with a blocking wheel (10), the blocking wheel being capable of interacting with one among the driveshaft, the input shaft or the gear element, wherein the drive device comprises a torque limiter (17) disposed between the input shaft and the driveshaft, the torque limiter interacting with the blocking wheel.
